Speaker Bio:
Erin Manian was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, where she now resides with her husband and two foster children, Erin earned a BA from Marquette University, with a double major in Criminology and Law Studies and Spanish Literature. She earned her J.D. from Marquette's Law School in 2007, participating in seminars on Forgiveness and Healing and Peacemaking and Spirituality, and Alternative Dispute Resolution and Restorative Justice. At Marquette Law, Erin also received the CALI award in Law, Philosophy and Social Theory. Erin is now staff attorney for the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin, one of the most comprehensive non-profit AIDS service agencies in the country. She provides representation for hundreds of people throughout the State of Wisconsin living with HIV disease on legal issues, including discrimination, confidentiality, disability benefits and estate planning. Erin and her husband attend the First Unitarian Society (UUA) of Milwaukee.

The Orthodox Peace Fellowship annual conference was held in Madison, Wisconsin in September 2011 at the Bishop Oconnor Pastoral Center.
